The SPLC is a chartered group of the TeleManagement Forum, solely for the purpose of bringing Service Provider members together to help in the resolution of issues of mutual interest.
The vision of the SPLC is that it will be:
… a vehicle for sharing information of common interest between SPs
… a vehicle to help SPs jointly work with potentially dominant vendors
… a vehicle to help provide direction to the vendor community to advance in a commonly beneficial direction
… a vehicle to help vendors take risks
… a vehicle to produce requirements that will drive the NGOSS program
The stated goals of the SPLC are:
To incentivise vendors to move in a direction that is of mutual interest to service providers
To share technical level experiences to help each other benefit from success and mistakes
Initial Areas of Focus of the SPLC include:
Development of generic NGOSS based RFPs
Development of a list of generic requirements of the ISV community
Formation of teams to work on areas of common interest such as operations management 看看
