摘 要 由于多媒体通信的发展, 全光网络成为具有美好发展前景的技术。而接入网的光纤化
成为必然的趋势。无源光网络(PON ) 以其经济有效的成网特点尤其引人注目。本文首先介绍了无源
光网络系统的发展情况, 然后讨论了有关发展无源光网络的最新技术问题。

通信的发展正在由窄带向宽带过渡, 用
户的需求也不再仅仅满足现有的电话业务,
而向视频点播, 视频购物等多媒体业务发展。
因此对连接用户的接入网就有了更高的要
求, 为了提供各种宽带业务, 光纤接入是最佳
的选择, 而PON (无源光网络) 接入技术是优
选的成网技术。下面首先介绍光纤接入网的
发展进程, 然后给出基于PON 的光纤接入
网的系统构成, 最后介绍有关PON 成网的
技术发展。
